Winter Wonderland

This morning we woke up to about a foot of snow on the ground and it was still coming down. Along with the snow came wind gusts of 35-40 mph. Here are just a few of the pictures that we took this morning!

When we came home tonight after work these are the snow drifts we found in front of our house, thanks to the 40 mile an hour winds. The snow was covering our front door that we could not get in LOL They say we could get up to another six inches tonight, let's hope they are wrong!!

Glenn Hammond Curtiss Museum

Today Heidi, Jamie and Arnold (a friend from Jamie's work) all headed out to the Glenn Hammond Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport, New York. Heidi and Jamie had been there before but this was the first time for Arnold. We always have a great time looking at all the old planes and motorcycles and reading about Glenn's life. The dollhouses were also out on exhibit this time which made Heidi really happy. We then ended the day going out to lunch for Mexican. It ended up being Heidi and Jamie's favorite Mexican place that is no longer in the valley! It was a great day!!

Lunch with the girls!!

Today Heidi went out with 8 other girls from work. We all decided we needed a "time-out" to hang out and gossip outside of school :) We all headed up to Bernie Murray's a nice little bar in Elmira. We all had a wonderful time and are planning on getting together like this once a month! :)

Gretchen's Birthday Dinner

Yesterday was Gretchen's 26th birthday, so to celebrate we went to dinner at Uno's Chicago Grill. It was nice to sit back and relax with everyone. The waitress was super nice and gave Heidi and Jamie their meals for free because she felt it took forever for their meals to come out. We all told her not to worry about it that it was not a big deal to us and she still took off our meals. The food was delicious and we all had a wonderful time!!

Pizza with Bomp

Tonight Heidi, Jamie, Gretchen, Scott, and Heidi's parents Joan and Fred went over to Heidi's grandpa's house for pizza. Uncle John also stopped by from next door. Bomp was getting ready for a ten day trip to Florida to see his sister! We all had a wonderful time chatting and eating, and we know that Bomp will have a great time in Florida!!

Christmas at Gretchen and Scott's 2009

This was our second stop on Christmas Day. After our trip over to Canton we stopped by Gretchen and Scott's place to have our family Christmas over there. We all had a great time and had lots of laughs. The day ended with Heidi going on a treasure hunt for her present. Jamie thought that was perfect way to give Heidi her present, since they had been doing a lot of geocaching as of late. It was a wonderful Christmas spent with great family, lots of laughs and memories we will never forget!
