Mom and Dad get Re-Married!!

Today, Heidi's parents got re-married. They were first married in 1980 divorced in '86 (although records indicate otherwise lol) and were remarried September 17, 2011. Today was also the 6th anniversary of Heidi's grandma's passing. We know she was there in spirit with all of us! We had an awesome time after the ceremony at Auntie E and Todd's house where there was good food and lots of laughs. It was such a fun, fantastic day!! :)

Today we went out to celebrate Heidi's birthday! ( The big 3-1)

The Devastating Flood of 2011

Our area was hard hit by a devastating flood 2 days ago. It was so sad to watch all the news reports and see all the pictures from around "the valley" So many people lost so much :(


The picture below is all of the semi trucks that were backed up because part of the interstate flooded. They lined up for miles and miles.


If you look closely at the picture below you will see a basketball backboard and rim just sticking out of the water. A normal basketball goal is 10 feet high...this goes to show just how much water Mother Nature dropped on us.

Sugarland @ the New York State Fair

Today my friend Terri and I headed up to Syracuse for the NY State fair where Sugarland would be performing. Opening up for them was Sara Bareilles!! We were kind of worried about storms or rain that they thought might pop up, but in fact all it was was humid and the concert was AWESOME!! We are so thankful to our friend Ashley who won them and gave them to us because she was unable to go. I would def. go and see both of these concerts again. Sugarland was fantastic and they put on a spectacular show!! If you ever get the chance to see them you should most def go!!! The pictures and video aren't the greatest but you can still get the gist of what a great concert it was!!! :)
