SuperMoon

Tonight after we had dinner and ice cream we came home and dragged the telescope out to look at the supermoon!! We had a little trouble getting the telescope to work properly that's why in the 2nd picture below you can see Jamie looking off while the moon is in front of him. We finally got the telescope working and were able to gaze at the moon. It was amazing!! Can't wait to use it again this summer when it'll be warmer out :)

Mom's Birthday

My mom's birthday was actually yesterday but because Scott and Gretchen had to work we decided to go out for dinner tonight. My grandpa even decided to come out with us!! We went to a little local diner and had dinner, then went back to my parents house for some ice cream cake. Gretchen and Scott decided to head home early, so NO CAKE for them :)

Racing in the Snow

Jamie decided to get his R/C truck out to race it in the snow. It sure was cold out there but we had a great time!! :)

Winter Wonderland 2011

Once again mother nature was very unkind to us!! This time dropping a whopping 14 inches on most parts of the valley! Let me just say, I hope this is the last storm of the season. I'm so ready for shorts and tank tops!!! :)

Megan's 18th Birthday

Today around 5:00 I got a phone call from my cousin Elyse! Her sister Megan (another cousin) was turning 18 today and they wanted me to go out to dinner with them. We went to a little Italian place called OIG. The food is always good when we go there. Since Meg was turning 18 today she wanted Elyse and I to take her to Tioga Downs casino for the first time. She had 20 bucks her dad had given her for her birthday. Now let me tell you, when I take 20 bucks to the casino I'm lucky if it lasts me 20 minutes. This girl spent 2 hours having a great time on her 20 bucks. I was so glad that the girls allowed me to be a part of the birthday celebration!!!
