2nd round of geocaching

Jamie and Heidi decided once again to go out geocaching today. Today we found seven different caches. It has been a blast hunting and finding all the treasures and seeing the beautiful area in which we live. We have also enjoyed spending all this time together!! Hopefully someday soon we will be hiding caches of our own. :)

On the Borderline

Easy8

This was one of the toughest caches we have tried to find. It took us three trips to the tank to finally find it. The only thing we didn't like was that this was on one of the main roads in Waverly LOL

This is the reservoir we saw on our hike. It is beautiful!!

Peace in the Valley

We had to be very secretive about this one. This one was in a cemetery and there were a lot of houses right across the street.

Fishing in the Cannon Hole

Bones and Stones #3

This one was also in a cemetery but this one was out in the country.

Geocaching

Jamie and Heidi decided to try something different this weekend and went geocaching! We had a blast. For those of you who don't know what geocaching is here is a general idea as to what it is...GEOCACHING-Geocaching is a high-tech treasure hunting game played throughout the world by adventure seekers equipped with GPS devices. The basic idea is to locate hidden containers, called geocaches, outdoors and then share your experiences online. Geocaching is enjoyed by people from all age groups, with a strong sense of community and support for the environment. One rule is if you take something out of the cache then you need to replace it with something else. We plan on doing it a lot more often. It is a great workout and a great way to be in touch with the outdoors. Look for more pictures to be coming soon of our future geocaching adventures! :)
