Renaissance Festival, Sterling, NY

We decided to take a trip to Sterling, New York for the annual Renaissance Festival. We had never been before and were looking forward to the trip. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive out there but it sure was worth it. We had a great time. We tried our hand at archery (Jamie by far has much better aim.) We enjoyed a couple of good shows and lots of great food! Just look at the size of that turkey leg Jamie ate!! We also were able to view a glassblower and a clay pot maker. We are definitely going to go back next year.

Geocaching

We decided to do a little bit of geocaching today. It had been a while since we had been out. These were the few pictures I was able to take before my camera battery died :( Oh well there will definitely be more geocaching adventures in our future :)

Our 1st Anniversary!!

We finally decided to head over to the Starkweather's to play some Kan- Jam. We had a blast today and can't wait to play some more. I do believe the boys won this time, but look out for next time, the girls will prevail :))

Beautiful Night Sky

We made a quick shopping trip to Wal-mart tonight and came out of the store to a sky like this. This is absolutely beautiful!!! :)

Bowling with Bomp

Today we decided to go bowling with Bomp. He wants to get some practice in before his league starts in Sept. and Jamie and I could always use the practice :) We had a great time and hopefully will be going a lot more this summer.

Misc. Family Pictures---Katy, TX

Here are just a few of the misc. pictures we took while on vacation in Texas. We had such a wonderful time and are already excited about going back at Christmastime. It will be nice to spend time together again with all of the family.

Geocaching with the Kruses!

We were lucky enough to be able to take Kathryn, Jake and Cameron out geocaching. We had such a blast. I think we have made geocachers out of them. Can't wait til we are all together again so we can hunt for some more treasure!
