We had quite a few visitors to our backyard this weekend! We don't have a body of water near us, but these birds found their way to our house. Jamie fed them with tortilla chips and they absolutely loved them! :) Here are just a few of the pictures and also a video I got of them close up! 
The kids brought home plastic blow up bats from the Astros game,that they actually didn't get to see...it was sold out:( They found a fun way to put them to use. Even the big kids got involved!! LOL :)
After 10+years Jamie decided to finally take the plunge and ask Heidi to marry him. He had everything planned out perfectly. We all went to Omar's, one of our favorite restaurants when we all visit "home". He wanted all of his family to be there but his sister Kristen and her family had to drive back to Dallas and Grandma Betty was in the hospital. He had the cake made and bought beautiful roses (one of Heidi's favorite colors). It was definetly a nice surprise!!(There will be more pictures added as soon as we get them) Thanks for the pictures Kathryn!!!!
It was so nice to get back to Katy to visit with family. We were all together for a few days, and it was nice to spend time with everyone. The trip was saddened by the loss of Jamie's Grandma Betty on June 3rd. We all love her and miss her!!!
