Today we decided to head out to Mansfield, PA where we were going to meet some of Heidi's family for lunch. We did a little bit of geocaching both before and after lunch. We then stopped back at the campsite where Heidi's parents and grandparents were camping (in Canton, PA.) There was a cache hidden less than a mile from the campsite so Heidi talked everyone into heading out with them to try and find this cache. There were people having a picnic right in front of where the cache was hidden. After we found the cache we realized that the people having the picnic were some of Heidi's family. They had come from as far as Alabama and Virginia to some time together with family. We were able to get some good pictures and had some laughs. What a nice surprise we had! We were able to sit and chat for about 30 minutes before the rains came and everyone decided to head out. This is a day we will never forget!!
Popeye lost this knife around Memorial Day weekend and while Jamie and Heidi were cleaning out their car they found the knife. Popeye had been searching all over for this knife and finally decided he wasn't going to be able to find it. Jamie took it out of his pocket and you should have seen the look on Popeye's face! Glad we were able to find it and give it back to him :)
