Family get together

Today we went over to Heidi's aunt and uncle house for a little cookout. We had a great time talking, laughing, and of course eating!! Heidi's Great Aunt Eleanor was visiting from Florida and was able to be there as well! It was a great day :) Aunt Eleanor-87 years young!!

Don and Betty's 50th Wedding Anniversary Party

August 22 was Heidi's great aunt and uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. Their children, Trish, Donny, and Sarah all planned a surprise anniversary party for them. It was at the Treadway Inn in Owego, New York. There were apporox. 100 people there in attendance to celebrate. They put a slide show together that brought tears to all the eyes in the house, well maybe not Jamie...or Heidi's dad LOL. All in all it was a great night filled with laughter, food, and catching up! Congratulations to Aunt Betty and Uncle Donny!! Heidi

Helluva Good Sour Cream Dips @ The Glen, Watkins Glen, Ny

Heidi and Jamie along with Heidi's parents were able to go to Watkins Glen, NY for the Nascar race this year. Heidi and her parents went up Friday morning and Jamie joined then Saturday morning. The weather was not the best, in fact it rained so bad it was all muddy around us. The lightning on the other hand was amazing! The race was actually postponed because of the storms and was ran on Monday, August 10. We had such a good time that we are already planning on going back next year!! The view from where we camped
