After a fun filled Christmas day we all decided to decorate Gingerbread houses. This is a Hood family tradition that I always look forward to. Everyone had a blast decorating their houses. Even the littlest Hood got in on the action this year. Katelyn at six months old helped decorate her house! What a great day!! :)

Christmas in Katy
Christmas morning is always a fun time in Katy. I love seeing the looks on the kids faces when they walk out and see what Santa has left for them. It's so much fun to watch them all open their presents. This year was no different. Brandon and Katelyn crashed early and didn't get to open all of their presents but the rest of the kids had no problems staying awake the entire day! :) Such a great day!!

Nene's Birthday Celebration!
Today would have been Nene's 76th birthday, so to celebrate Heidi, Jamie, Cara, Joan and Fred went over to Bomp's house and had a pizza party celebration. Aunt Sue and Uncle Tracy from San Antonio even made an appearance through webcam. Gretchen showed up after she got off from work too! It was a nice night spent together with family to remember a woman so close to my heart! I love and miss you muchly!!!
